Preparation

  • Wash all your fruit thoroughly. Dice the apples and pears into bite-sized cubes, removing seeds and cores.
  • Peel and chop the oranges into similar-sized chunks. Gather the pomegranate seeds.

Combine the Fruits

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced apples, pears, pomegranate seeds, chopped oranges, and walnuts. Gently fold the fruits together with a spatula.

Make the Dressing

  • In a small saucepan, heat the honey over low heat, stirring gently until it begins to melt.

Add Spices to Dressing

  • Remove the saucepan from heat and mix in ground cinnamon and vanilla extract, whisking until fully combined.

Toss the Salad

  • Pour the warm dressing over the fruit mixture and gently toss using a spatula to coat all pieces.
