  • 1 lb beef sirloin sliced
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 cups mushrooms sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Prepare all ingredients by slicing the beef, chopping the onion, slicing mushrooms, and mincing the garlic.
  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
  • Add sliced beef and cook for 5–7 minutes until browned.
  • Stir in mushrooms and cook for another 5 minutes until softened.
  • Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir well to coat evenly.
  • Pour in beef broth, stirring continuously. Bring to a gentle boil.
  • Add egg noodles, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 8–10 minutes until noodles are tender.
  • Remove from heat and stir in sour cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.

Notes

For extra depth of flavor, you can add a splash of Worcestershire sauce or a pinch of paprika. This dish pairs well with a green salad or crusty bread.
