Dressing

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Preparation

  • Start by gathering all your fresh ingredients. Wash the apples, pears, kiwis, and oranges thoroughly to remove any residue.
  • Chop the apples, pears, and kiwis into uniform bite-sized pieces.
  • Peel the oranges or mandarins using a sharp knife to avoid bitterness from the pith and segment the fruits.

Combining Ingredients

  • In a large mixing bowl, begin to combine all the chopped fruits, starting with the apples and pears, then adding the citrus segments, pomegranate seeds, and kiwi. Toss gently.

Making the Dressing

  • In a small bowl, mix together the honey and lemon juice until well combined.

Dressing the Salad

  • Pour the honey-lemon dressing over the combined fruits and gently toss to coat evenly.

Chilling

  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for 4-6 hours to allow flavors to meld.

Serving

  • Once ready, give the salad a final toss and serve it in a bowl or plate it in individual servings. Garnish with extra pomegranate seeds or a sprig of mint if desired.

Notes

Best enjoyed within 2-3 days. Store in an airtight container in the fridge. Avoid using overripe fruit for the best texture and flavor.
