Ingrédients
  

Brownie Ball Base

  • 1.5 cups dates (pitted) Use soft, pitted dates.
  • 2 tbsp almond flour Substitute with oat flour if preferred.
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder Can be substituted with raw cacao for richer flavor.
  • 1 scoop protein powder (any flavor) Vegan options available.
  • 2 tbsp honey Replace with agave or maple syrup for vegan.
  • 2 tbsp nut butter of choice (any nut/seed butter) Sunflower seed butter for nut-free option.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips Optional: use dairy-free chips.
  • 1 heaping tsp coconut oil For melting with chocolate.

To Serve

  • Flaky sea salt (for topping) Sprinkle on top before chocolate hardens.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and ensure that your dates are pitted.

Mixing

  • Add all the ingredients except the chocolate chips into a food processor or blender. Pulse until blended into a sticky mixture.
  • Check the consistency; add almond flour if too sticky or more nut butter if too dry.

Forming Balls

  • Roll the mixture into balls, creating about 8-10 larger balls or up to 20 smaller ones.

Freezing

  • Place the rolled balls on a lined tray and freeze to firm them up.
  • Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil in the microwave, stirring until smooth.
  • Dip each frozen ball in the melted chocolate and sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
  • Freeze again until the chocolate hardens.

Serving

  • Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container.

Notes

Store in the fridge for up to a week or in the freezer for up to three months. Avoid microwaving to retain texture.
