Brownie Batter

  • 0.5 cup butter melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • chocolate chips optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar until combined.
  • Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  • Stir in cocoa powder, flour, and salt until just combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips if using, then spread batter evenly in the pan.
  • Bake for 22–25 minutes until edges are set and center is slightly fudgy.
  • Allow brownies to cool before slicing and serving.

Notes

For heart-shaped brownies, let cool completely and cut with a cookie cutter. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
