Ingrédients
  

Chocolate Cookie Dough

  • 0.5 cup butter softened
  • 0.75 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.25 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • chocolate chips optional
  • heart sprinkles optional, for decoration

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  • Mix in egg and vanilla extract until combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  • Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheet and decorate with sprinkles.
  • Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set. Let cool before serving.

Notes

For extra softness, slightly underbake the cookies. Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
