Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Mix in egg and vanilla extract until combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Fold in chocolate chips if using.
Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheet and decorate with sprinkles.
Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set. Let cool before serving.
Notes
For extra softness, slightly underbake the cookies. Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
