Preparation

  • Gather and measure out all ingredients.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Baking

  • Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing until fully combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, being careful not to overmix.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips and heart-shaped sprinkles gently.
  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space for spreading.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden at the edges but soft in the center.
  • Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze them. Reheat in the microwave for a few seconds before enjoying.
