  • Gather all your ingredients together. Measure out the creamy peanut butter, graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, melted butter, and vanilla extract.

Making the Base

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth in texture.
  • Transfer the mixture into an 8x8 inch lined baking dish. Press down firmly into an even layer.

Topping and Chilling

  • Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler. Heat at 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  • Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer and spread evenly.
  • Place the dish in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to firm up.

Serving

  • After chilling, lift the bars out using the parchment paper edges and cut into squares or fun shapes.
  • Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. These bars can also be frozen for longer storage.
