  • 2 teaspoons baking powder Can use cornstarch as a substitute.
  • 1 ounce dry ranch seasoning Homemade ranch seasoning can be used.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder Fresh minced garlic can be used for more flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil and lightly spray with cooking oil.
  • Pat each chicken thigh dry with a paper towel.
  • In a small bowl, mix baking powder, dry ranch seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  • Rub the spice mixture generously over each chicken thigh, coating both sides.
  • Arrange the seasoned chicken thighs skin-side up on the prepared baking sheet.

Cooking

  • Bake the chicken thighs for 30-40 minutes, or until the skin is golden and crispy.
  • Check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer; it should reach 165°F (74°C).
  • Let the chicken rest for a minute or two before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider marinating the chicken in ranch seasoning for a few hours before cooking.
