Ingrédients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 bell pepper chopped
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans drained
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups beef broth

Instructions
 

  • Gather all your ingredients and kitchen tools, including a large pot and utensils.
  • Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat until no longer pink, about 6–8 minutes.
  • Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes until softened.
  • Stir in diced tomatoes, kidney beans, and black beans. Mix well.
  • Season with chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir to coat evenly.
  • Pour in beef broth and stir. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat.
  • Simmer covered for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Taste and adjust seasonings if needed.
  • Serve hot with optional toppings such as cheese, sour cream, or avocado.
