  • Salt for the glass rim Adjust to taste, a light rim is recommended.
  • 1 simple syrup or lime wedge For adhering salt to the glass.
  • Ice For serving.
  • 1 Cinnamon stick For garnish.

Preparation

  • Measure out the apple cider, pear juice, tequila, and Grand Marnier.
  • Gather the salt, simple syrup or lime wedge, ice, and cinnamon sticks for garnish.

Prepare the Glass

  • Pour a ¼ inch layer of salt onto a small plate. Run a lime wedge along the rim of the glass.
  • Turn the glass upside down and gently press it into the salt to create a salted rim.

Mix Ingredients

  • Fill the prepared glass with ice until it reaches about ¾ full. Squeeze the remaining lime wedge over the ice.
  • In a cocktail shaker, combine the apple cider, pear juice, tequila, and Grand Marnier. Add ice to the shaker.
  • Cover the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
  • Remove the lid from the shaker and strain the ice, pouring your Thanksgiving Margarita into the prepared cocktail glass.

Garnish and Serve

  • Add a whole cinnamon stick to the drink as a garnish.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

This drink is family-friendly; serve as a mocktail by omitting the alcohol. Experiment with flavored liqueurs and fresh juices for quality.
