2tspherbs and spicessage, thyme, rosemary, black pepper
2cupsstock or brothchicken or vegetable broth
1/2cupbutteror plant-based butter alternative
6cupsbread cubesfor stuffing
Instructions
Gather all ingredients and preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped vegetables and sauté until softened and lightly caramelized, about 10–15 minutes.
Add bread cubes and herbs to the skillet, mixing well so the bread is evenly coated with butter and spices.
Gradually pour in broth, stirring until the bread is moist but not soggy. Let sit for a few minutes to absorb flavors.
Transfer mixture into a baking dish, or use it to stuff a turkey. Bake uncovered for 30–40 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
Remove from oven and let rest 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
Try variations like apple and sausage stuffing, or mushroom and spinach for a twist. For a vegan version, replace butter with olive oil and use vegetable broth.
