  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish) Optional

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and tools, including a skillet, mixing bowls, and a spatula.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the unsalted butter, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth.

Cooking

  • Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add chicken breasts and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • Deglaze the skillet by adding chicken broth and scraping up the browned bits.
  • Stir in the butter mixture and cook for about 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet to coat it in the sauce, simmering for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.
