Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, chopped green onions, egg, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is evenly incorporated.
  • Form the mixture into meatballs, approximately 1 inch in diameter.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place the meatballs on the prepared baking sheet, spaced apart. Bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
  • While baking, heat the teriyaki sauce and sesame oil in a small saucepan over medium heat until warmed.
  • Transfer the baked meatballs into the saucepan with the teriyaki sauce and gently toss to coat evenly.
  • Serve the Teriyaki Chicken Meatballs warm.

Notes

For meal prep, these meatballs can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3–4 days or frozen for longer storage. Consider serving with rice, stir-fried vegetables, or a light salad.
