Preparation

  • Start by washing and hulling your strawberries.
  • In a blender, add the washed strawberries, plain yogurt, sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract.
  • Blend the mixture on high speed until you achieve a smooth consistency.
  • Before proceeding, taste the mixture and adjust sweetness if necessary.
  • Pour the mixture into an airtight container.
  • Freeze for at least four hours or until firm.
  • Before serving, let it sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes to soften.
  • Scoop into bowls or cones and garnish with fresh strawberries or mint leaves.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the freezer to avoid freezer burn. Allow to soften before serving. Customize by adding other fruits or toppings as desired.
