  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded Pre-shredded cheese can be used for convenience
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened Softened for easier mixing
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup almond flour Can be substituted with gluten-free breadcrumbs

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients. Wash the spinach thoroughly and chop it finely.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, and parmesan cheese. Mix until well integrated.
  • Sprinkle in the garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix to evenly distribute the spices.
  • Roll small portions of the mixture into balls or patties.
  • Roll each ball in almond flour to create a crispy exterior.
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the cheese crisps on it.

Cooking

  • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  • Let the cheese crisps cool slightly before serving.
  • Transfer to a serving platter and enjoy warm.

Notes

For variations, try adding herbs like dill or different types of cheese to suit your taste. These are best enjoyed fresh and warm.
