Ingrédients
  

For the Beef Strips

  • 1 lb Beef strips (450g)
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Ground cumin
  • 1 tsp Brown sugar
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

For the Buttermilk Cream

  • ½ cup Buttermilk
  • 1 tbsp Fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ unit Juice of lemon

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all the ingredients, trim excess fat from the beef strips and slice into even pieces.
  • In a bowl, combine olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, ground cumin, brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Mix well, then add the beef strips, ensuring they are well-coated with the marinade. Let sit for at least 30 minutes.

Cooking

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the marinated beef strips to the hot skillet in a single layer. Cook for 3-4 minutes without moving to develop a crust.
  • Flip the strips and cook for another 2-3 minutes until browned to your desired doneness.

Buttermilk Cream Preparation

  • While the beef is cooking, whisk together buttermilk, fresh chives, parsley, and lemon juice in a small bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Assembly

  • Remove the beef from heat. Serve the strips on a platter with a side of the buttermilk cream or drizzle the sauce over the strips.
  • Garnish with additional herbs or smoked paprika before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in a skillet over low heat.
