  • 1.5 to 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts about 3–4 pieces
  • 1 10.5 oz can cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1 6 oz box chicken-flavored stuffing mix
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • ½ cup water

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and lightly grease the inside of your slow cooker.

Layering

  • Place the boneless skinless chicken breasts in a single layer at the bottom of the slow cooker.

Mixing Sauce

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and poultry seasoning.

Pouring Sauce

  • Spread the creamy sauce mixture evenly over the chicken.

Preparing Stuffing

  • In another bowl, combine the chicken-flavored stuffing mix with melted butter and water until moistened.

Spoon on Stuffing

  • Spoon the prepared stuffing mixture evenly over the creamy chicken sauce without stirring.

Cooking

  • Cover the slow cooker and set it to cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 4 hours.

Finishing Touch

  • Check for doneness and fluff the stuffing with a fork before serving.

Serving
