  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce Or tamari for gluten-free.
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced

  • 1 cup cooked brown rice Prepare ahead of time.
  • 2 green onions sliced For garnish.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Gather all your essential ingredients. Mince the garlic and ginger finely, slice the green onions, and cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets.

Cooking

  • In a skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for about one minute until fragrant.

  • Stir in the broccoli florets and continue cooking for another 5 minutes.
  • Pour in the soy sauce, stirring well to coat all ingredients evenly, and cook together for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • If your cooked brown rice is not warm, microwave it for 1-2 minutes.

Assembly

  • Layer the bowl by adding warm cooked brown rice at the bottom, and top with the turkey and broccoli mixture.
  • Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
