Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients. Measure the pretzels, caramel candies, chocolate chips, and sea salt.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Spread the pretzels in a single layer on the lined baking sheet.
  • In a saucepan, combine the caramel candies and water. Melt over low heat while stirring frequently until smooth.
  • Pour the melted caramel over the pretzels and use a spatula to coat them evenly.
  • Bake for 5-7 minutes until the caramel is bubbly and slightly golden.
  • Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over the caramel-covered pretzels.
  • Let the chocolate chips sit for a few minutes to soften, then spread them evenly across the caramel.
  • Sprinkle sea salt on top of the chocolate.
  • Refrigerate for about 30 minutes or until set, then break into pieces for serving.

Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. For extra flavor, consider adding toppings like crushed nuts or sprinkles.
