For the Stuffing and Sides

  • 1 box Stuffing (14 oz) For a tasty filling.
  • 1 lb Green beans A fresh side.
  • 1 can Cranberry sauce Adds a sweet contrast.
  • 1 9-inch Pumpkin pie Classic dessert.
  • Whipped cream For serving.

Preparation

  • Start by gathering all your ingredients. Ensure your turkey is thawed if frozen.
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  • Rub the softened butter all over the turkey, ensuring it’s well coated. Sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder generously on the outside and inside.
  • Take your prepared stuffing and carefully fill the cavity of the turkey.

Cooking

  • Transfer the stuffed turkey to a large roasting pan. Cover it loosely with aluminum foil.
  • Roast for approximately 3 to 4 hours, basting occasionally with its juices.
  • While the turkey roasts, bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the green beans for 5-7 minutes until tender.
  • In a small saucepan, heat the cranberry sauce over low heat for about 5 minutes.
  • Once the turkey reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C), remove it from the oven and let it rest for at least 20 minutes before carving.

Serving

  • Slice the turkey and serve it with green beans, a scoop of cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie topped with whipped cream.

Notes

Allow leftovers to cool completely and store in an airtight container. Reheat slices in a covered dish at 325°F until warmed through.
