  • 1 box (15.2 oz) red velvet cake mix Use gluten-free cake mix for gluten-sensitive individuals.
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips, divided Reserve some for topping.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and gather all your ingredients.
  • Line a 9x13 inch metal baking pan with parchment paper.

Mixing

  • In a large mixing bowl, blend softened butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Gradually add red velvet cake mix and mix until just combined.
  • Fold in most of the white chocolate chips, reserving some for topping.

Baking

  • Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan and top with reserved white chocolate chips.
  • Bake for 18-22 minutes until the top is set and a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.

Cooling and Serving

  • Cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before lifting out and slicing into squares.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, add a teaspoon of cocoa powder. Bars can be customized with toppings like crushed nuts or colored sprinkles.
