Cooking the Macaroni

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the elbow macaroni and cook according to the package directions (8-10 minutes) until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Browning the Beef

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it up into small pieces (about 5-7 minutes). Drain excess fat.

Combining Ingredients

  • Add ranch seasoning mix, milk, and sour cream to the cooked beef, stirring until well combined. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Mix cooked macaroni into the beef mixture, ensuring it's evenly coated. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Add half of the shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until melted.
  • Continue cooking until the mixture is heated through.
  • Top with remaining cheddar cheese, cover, and let it sit for 2-3 minutes until melted.
  • Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.

Notes
