Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients before starting.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and pumpkin spice. Stir until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the pumpkin mixture until fully combined.

Assembly

  • Quickly dip each ladyfinger in the cooled coffee.
  • Layer half of the dipped ladyfingers at the bottom of a trifle dish.
  • Spread half of the pumpkin mixture over the ladyfingers.
  • Repeat with the remaining ladyfingers and finish with the remaining pumpkin mixture.
  • Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  • Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.
  • Slice and serve cold.

Notes

Best served chilled. Can be prepared a day in advance. Ensure to dust with cocoa powder before serving for presentation.
