  • 1 package prosciutto
  • 12 oz mozzarella balls About 1 package
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil Optional for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  • Separate the prosciutto slices and lay them flat on a clean surface.
  • Drain the mozzarella balls and cut them in half if they are large.

Wrapping and Seasoning

  • Wrap each mozzarella ball with a slice of prosciutto, ensuring it’s snug but not overly tight.
  • In a small skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add oregano, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir for about 30 seconds.
  • Brush the seasoned oil mixture over each wrapped mozzarella bite.

Baking

  • Place the bites on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are not touching.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the prosciutto is crispy and slightly golden.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.

Serving

  • Garnish with fresh basil if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

These bites can be made in advance and stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
