Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients, ensuring the vanilla ice cream is slightly softened.
  • Measure out 2 cups of ice cream, 1 cup of milk, and 1/2 teaspoon of peppermint extract.

Blending

  • In a high-speed blender, add the measured vanilla ice cream, milk, and peppermint extract.
  • Blend at low speed first and then gradually increase to high speed until smooth.
  • Blend for about 30 seconds until you achieve a creamy consistency.

Serving

  • Prepare serving glasses by drizzling chocolate syrup along the inside of each glass.
  • Pour the milkshake mixture into the prepared glasses.
  • Top with a generous dollop of whipped cream.
  • Sprinkle crushed candy canes over the whipped cream.
  • Serve immediately for the best texture and taste.

Notes

If leftovers remain, store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 1 month. Let sit at room temperature before serving if it hardens.
