  • 16 oz White Chocolate, chopped Be careful not to overheat.

Flavoring

  • 1 teaspoon Peppermint Extract Infuses the bark with refreshing flavor.

Toppings

  • 1/2 cup Crushed Peppermint Candies Make sure the candies are fresh for the best crunch.

Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients and tools to ensure a smooth process.

Melting Chocolate

  • Melt the dark or milk chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth (takes about 3–5 minutes).

Spread Chocolate

  • Pour the melted chocolate onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spreading it evenly to create a layer about ¼ inch thick.

Melting White Chocolate

  • Melt the white chocolate using the same method, being careful not to scorch it (around 2–3 minutes).

Flavor and Layer

  • Stir in the peppermint extract into the melted white chocolate.
  • Pour the white chocolate over the dark or milk chocolate layer and spread it evenly.

Swirl and Add Toppings

  • Gently swirl the dark or milk chocolate into the white chocolate to create a marbled effect.
  • Before the chocolate sets, sprinkle the crushed peppermint candies on top and press them down lightly.

Chill and Serve

  • Refrigerate the baking sheet for 1–2 hours until the chocolate is completely set.
  • Once set, break the Peppermint Bark into irregular chunks.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks or freeze for up to three months. No need to thaw before serving—enjoy directly from the freezer for a refreshing treat.
