Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine granulated sugar, light corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg. Mix well and reserve 2 tablespoons for later.
  • Stir in the chopped pecans, ensuring they’re well-coated in the mixture.
  • Unroll the Pillsbury Crescent Rolls and separate into triangles.
  • Spoon 2-3 tablespoons of the pecan filling onto the widest end of each triangle.
  • Roll up each triangle from the wide end to the narrow end, tucking in sides to secure filling. Place seam side down on prepared baking sheet.

Baking

  • Bake rolls for about 8 minutes until they begin to set.
  • Remove from oven and brush each roll with the reserved sugar mixture.
  • Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
  • Once done, sprinkle with additional chopped pecans if desired and serve warm.
