Preparation

  • Grease a baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  • Layer the bread slices in the dish, overlapping if necessary.
  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well-combined.
  • Pour the egg mixture evenly over the bread, ensuring all pieces are well soaked.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.

Cooking

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Remove the plastic wrap and bake for 30-35 minutes until the top is golden brown and a knife comes out clean.
