Equipment

  • Large skillet or pot
  • Wooden Spoon

Ingrédients

  • 2 tbsp Butter unsalted
  • 4 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 200 g Uncooked spaghetti
  • 2 cups Vegetable broth or chicken broth
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated plus extra for serving
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  • Melt the butter in a large skillet or pot over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes, until fragrant and lightly golden.
  • Add the uncooked spaghetti and pour in the vegetable broth. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
  • Reduce heat to medium-low. Cook uncovered for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until most of the liquid is absorbed and the pasta is tender.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan. Stir continuously until the sauce becomes thick and creamy, about 2–3 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan. Serve immediately while hot and creamy.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of chili flakes or stir in cooked chicken, mushrooms, or spinach. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days; reheat with a splash of cream or milk to restore the texture.
