Préparation

Preparation
  1. Gather all your ingredients. Measure out the penne pasta, slice or crumble the Italian sausage, and wash the fresh spinach.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the Italian sausage and cook until browned and cooked through (about 5-7 minutes).
  2. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  3. Add the penne pasta to the skillet along with enough water to cover it completely. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. Once boiling, reduce heat and cover the skillet. Cook the pasta until al dente (about 10-12 minutes), stirring occasionally.
  5. Stir in the fresh spinach and heavy cream. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the spinach wilts.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted smoothly.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with additional Parmesan or black pepper if desired.

Notes et conservation

For enhanced flavor, consider adding herbs like basil or oregano. Red pepper flakes can add a bit of heat. Ensure to adjust the consistency of the dish with water as needed.
