Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, combine sliced apples, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and flour. Toss to coat evenly.
Spread apple mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
In another bowl, mix flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Stir in melted butter until crumbly.
Sprinkle the topping evenly over the apples, pressing down lightly.
Bake for 40–45 minutes, until apples are tender and topping is golden brown.
Let cool 15 minutes before serving. Best enjoyed warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
Notes
Use a mix of apple varieties (such as Granny Smith and Honeycrisp) for the best flavor. Add chopped nuts or dried fruit for extra texture.
