  • 1 cup mini marshmallows Ensure they are vegan if needed.

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs Use gluten-free graham crackers if required.
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar Maple syrup can be used as a vegan alternative.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Adds flavor to the mixture.

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients before starting.
  • In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and peanut butter over low heat, stirring until smooth (about 3-4 minutes).
  • Add the mini marshmallows and vanilla extract, stirring until the marshmallows melt completely (another 3-4 minutes).
  • Remove from heat, gradually mix in the graham cracker crumbs and powdered sugar until well combined.
  • Prepare an 8x8-inch pan, greasing it lightly. Pour the mixture into the pan and press it evenly into the corners.
  • Allow to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes, then refrigerate for at least one hour to let the squares set.
  • Once set, slice into squares using a sharp knife.
  • Serve and enjoy the treats, sharing with friends or enjoying throughout the week!

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for a couple of days, or refrigerate for up to a week. They can also be frozen for up to three months.
