  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Main Course

  • 2 pounds beef tenderloin, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Side Dish

  • 1 pound asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Dessert

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by gathering all your ingredients. Clean the shrimp, trim the asparagus, and look through your spices and oils.

Cooking the Appetizer

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute, then add the shrimp along with paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until the shrimp turns pink, about 3-4 minutes.

Preparing the Beef Tenderloin

  • While the shrimp is cooking, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). In a small bowl, mix mustard, garlic, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Rub this mixture all over the tenderloin.

Searing the Beef

  • In an oven-safe skillet over high heat, sear the beef tenderloin for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Transfer the skillet to your preheated oven and roast for about 20-25 minutes for medium-rare.

Preparing the Asparagus

  • Toss the asparagus with balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread them on a baking sheet and roast in the same oven as the beef for about 12-15 minutes until tender and slightly charred.

Making the Dessert Base

  • While everything is cooking, prepare the dessert. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  • Then place that mixture into the frozen pie crust evenly.

Adding the Berries

  • Once the beef is rested and the asparagus is done, top the whipped cream filling with mixed berries, arranging them beautifully.

Final Touches

  • Slice the beef tenderloin into thick pieces and plate it alongside the roasted asparagus and shrimp. Garnish them with herbs for a vibrant finish.
