Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and ensure they are at room temperature.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease and line a bento cake pan to prevent sticking.

Baking

  • In a bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Stir in the milk and vanilla extract until well mixed.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Cooling and Decorating

  • Once baked, let the cake cool completely in the pan before transferring it to a wire rack.
  • After it’s cooled, decorate with icing and fresh fruits.
