Preparation

  • Start by gathering all your ingredients.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, applesauce, sugar, cinnamon, and cloves. Mix until smooth.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking powder.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently to incorporate.

Baking

  • Pour the batter into mini muffin tins, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow treats to cool slightly before removing from the tin.
