Preparation

  • Start by gathering all the necessary ingredients. Shred your cooked chicken and ensure your mixed vegetables are thawed.

Cooking the Base

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, and thawed mixed vegetables. Stir until everything is evenly coated.

Baking

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Pour the chicken mixture into the greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the crushed cornflakes with the melted butter. Stir until coated.
  • Sprinkle the buttery cornflake mixture evenly over the chicken base.
