  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 cup olives, sliced

  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Can substitute with garlic powder for a milder flavor.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil Used for sautéing.
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients. Chop the onion and mince the garlic ahead of time to streamline the cooking process. Slice the olives and crumble the feta cheese.

Cooking

  • In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Once shimmering, add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté for about 3-5 minutes until the onion is soft and translucent.
  • Add the ground chicken, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook for about 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and crumbly.
  • Stir in the sliced olives, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese on top of the chicken mixture.
  • Taste and adjust the seasoning as necessary. Serve hot.

Notes

For added freshness, consider serving with a side of mixed greens or cauliflower rice. Adjust the recipe with seasonal vegetables for variation.
