Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add chicken broth and sun-dried tomatoes. Simmer for 3–4 minutes.
Pour in heavy cream and let the sauce thicken for 3–5 minutes.
Stir in parmesan, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Mix until smooth.
Cook pasta al dente according to package directions, reserving 1/2 cup of cooking water.
Combine chicken, sauce, and pasta. Add a bit of reserved water to loosen if needed.
Garnish with fresh basil and serve warm.
Notes
Use freshly grated parmesan for a smoother sauce. For extra veggies, add spinach or mushrooms. Adjust spice level with more red pepper flakes if desired.
