Ingrédients
  

  • 4 cups apples sliced, peeled if desired
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup for apples
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon for apples

Topping

  • 1 cup pecans chopped
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup butter melted

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8 or 9×9-inch baking dish.
  • In a bowl, mix sliced apples with maple syrup and cinnamon. Spread evenly into baking dish.
  • In another bowl, combine pecans, oats, flour, brown sugar, and salt. Stir in melted butter until mixture is crumbly.
  • Sprinkle topping evenly over apple mixture.
  • Bake 25–30 minutes until apples are tender and topping is golden brown.
  • Cool 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes

For variation, add berries, cranberries, or a pinch of nutmeg. Use gluten-free oats and flour for a GF option, or swap butter with coconut oil for a dairy-free version. Leftovers keep 3–4 days refrigerated or freeze up to 3 months.
