Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and ensure the turkey is sliced thinly and chives are chopped.
  • In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, poultry seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Stir in chopped chives and adjust seasonings to taste.
  • Take the slices of nutty bread and spread the herbed mayonnaise evenly on each side.
  • Place green leaf lettuce leaves on one slice of bread.
  • Layer the sliced leftover turkey on top of the lettuce.
  • Spoon cranberry sauce over the turkey.
  • Place the second slice of bread on top, mayo-side facing the filling, and gently press down.
  • Cut the sandwich in half diagonally and serve immediately.
