Instructions
Preparation
Gather all the ingredients.
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.
Form the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter.
Cooking
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and brown the meatballs for about 5-7 minutes.
Remove the meatballs and set aside.
In the same skillet, add flour to the drippings and whisk for 1-2 minutes.
Gradually add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring until the gravy thickens.
Return the meatballs to the skillet, cover, and let simmer for 15-20 minutes on low heat.
Check for doneness and ensure meatballs reach an internal temperature of 160°F.
Serving
Serve the meatballs and gravy over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles.
Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
