Ingrédients
  

Crust

  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 0.5 cups unsalted butter, melted

Filling

  • 1 cups sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cups fresh key lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon key lime zest
  • 1 cups white chocolate chips

Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients: graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, sugar, eggs, cream cheese, key lime juice, zest, and white chocolate chips.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cook the Base

  • Mix the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined. Press into a greased 9x9 inch baking pan.
  • Bake for about 10 minutes until edges start to turn golden.

Prepare the Filling

  • Whisk together sugar, eggs, and softened cream cheese until smooth.

Add Key Lime Juice and Zest

  • Mix in key lime juice and zest until well blended.

Combine with the Crust

  • Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust and spread evenly.

Bake the Bars

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until filling is set. Check doneness with a toothpick.

Allow to Cool Completely

  • Let the bars cool completely at room temperature.

Melt White Chocolate

  • Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl at 30-second intervals.

Pour White Chocolate Over Bars

  • Spread the melted white chocolate over the cooled bars.

Chill and Serve

  • Chill the bars in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before slicing and serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Bars can be frozen for up to three months.
