Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and chop the white chocolate into small, even pieces.

Cooking the Base

  • In a medium saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it simmers (about 5 to 7 minutes).

Combining Ingredients

  • Remove the saucepan from heat and add the chopped white chocolate to the hot cream. Let it sit for about a minute.
  • Gently stir the mixture using a whisk or spatula until all the white chocolate is fully melted.

Flavoring

  • Incorporate the unsalted butter, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt into the melted ganache. Stir until combined and the butter has melted.

Cooling and Thickening

  • Allow the ganache to cool at room temperature for about 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Transfer to a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours until thickened.

Final Touch

  • Beat the chilled ganache with a hand mixer for a couple of minutes until it becomes fluffy and light.

Notes
