- 5 cups Rice Chex cereal, divided Divided for mixing and coating.
- 1 cup mini pretzels Adds crunch.
- 10 ounces white melting chocolate For coating.
- ½ cup powdered sugar For coating.
- 6 ounces Valentine’s Day M&Ms Adds sweetness and color.
- Sprinkles (optional) For additional decoration.
Instructions
Preparation
- Start by measuring out all of your ingredients. Divide the Rice Chex cereal into two portions.
Cooking
- In a large mixing bowl, add 4 cups of the Rice Chex cereal as the base.
- Using a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate wafers in short intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the Rice Chex cereal and stir gently to coat.
- Transfer half of the chocolate-coated cereal into a zip-top bag, add powdered sugar, seal, and shake to coat.
- In the mixing bowl, add the last cup of Rice Chex, mini pretzels, M&Ms, and optional sprinkles, then fold gently.
- Spread the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Sprinkle the powdered sugar-coated cereal over the top.
- Let the snack mix cool at room temperature for about 20 minutes.
Serving
- After cooling, gently toss the mix to break up chunks and transfer to a serving bowl.
