Ingrédients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak choose your preferred cut
  • 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for searing steak

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
  • Season steak generously with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear steak for 4 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Let rest for 5 minutes, then slice against the grain.
  • In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Lower heat and pour in heavy cream. Stir well, scraping any bits from the pan. Let simmer for 3–5 minutes to thicken slightly.
  • Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth. Adjust sauce thickness with reserved pasta water as needed.
  • Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the creamy sauce.
  • Top with sliced steak, sprinkle with extra Parmesan and black pepper, and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the steak in olive oil, garlic, and herbs before cooking. Add spinach, mushrooms, or sun-dried tomatoes for extra texture and nutrition.
