  • 12 pieces jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped Ensure shrimp is precooked
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded Divided into two parts
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 piece egg
  • 2 cups marinara sauce Divided into two parts
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients ahead of time.
  • Cook your shrimp if it’s not already pre-cooked and chop your spinach finely.

Cooking

  • Follow package instructions to cook the jumbo pasta shells until al dente. Drain and cool slightly before handling.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the chopped shrimp, spinach, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  • Using a spoon or a piping bag, stuff each jumbo shell with the shrimp and spinach filling.
  • Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce evenly across the bottom of a baking dish.
  • Carefully place the stuffed shells into the baking dish in a single layer.
  • Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the tops, ensuring each shell is well-coated.
  • Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top of the stuffed shells.
  • Cover the baking dish tightly with foil and place it in a preheated oven set at 375°F (190°C). Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  • Once baked, remove the foil and let the dish cool for about 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

To store leftovers, allow the dish to cool completely before transferring to an airtight container. It can be kept in the refrigerator for up to three days or frozen for longer storage. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 15-20 minutes.
