Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients and measure out 8 ounces of pasta.
  • Open the can of Rotel tomatoes and chop any additional vegetables or proteins if using.

Cooking

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions (about 8–10 minutes) until al dente.
  • Drain the pasta and return it to the pot, keeping the heat on low.
  • Add the can of Rotel tomatoes to the pot and stir to evenly distribute.
  • Drizzle the olive oil over the pasta and tomatoes, stirring gently.
  • Sprinkle in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Incorporate the shredded cheese, stirring continuously until melted.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary.

Serving

Notes
