  • 8 pretzel buns Toasting recommended.

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and measure them out.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
  • Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape into patties.
  • Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat.

Cooking

  • Cook the patties on the grill or skillet for 4-5 minutes on each side.
  • Add a slice of cheese on top of each patty in the last minute of cooking to allow it to melt.
  • Toast the pretzel buns if desired.

Assembly

Notes
