Irresistible Peach Crumble Bars

Ingredients
Base and Topping
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar Can be substituted with coconut sugar or maple syrup.
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened Can be replaced with coconut oil for a dairy-free version.
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Filling
- 2 cups fresh peaches, sliced Substitutable with frozen or canned peaches (drained).
Instructions
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Gather and measure all ingredients.
Making the Base
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add softened butter and blend until crumbly.
- Press half of the crumble mixture into a greased baking pan to form the base.
Layering
- Layer the peach slices evenly over the crust.
- Sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture over the peach layer.
Baking and Serving
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool for 15 minutes before cutting.
- Serve warm or at room temperature, optionally with ice cream.
